Abstract:
Based on resources survey,sample collection and references studies,edible plant resources in the Tengchong County of Yunnan Province were systematic investigated and analyzed.Furthermore,the diversity analysis of resources’ composition,life form and edible parts were also conducted.The results showed that there were 151 wild edible plants in 122 genera of 67 families.The species of Rosaceae,Compositae,Solanaceae,Poaceae and Leguminosae were dominant.Acorrding to their life types,there are 79 herb plants,41 shrubs,49 trees and 4 liana in the region.The eating plants’ leaves and fruits were the main in the resources according to edible parts.Furthermore,in order to provide scientific basis for reasonable exploitation and utilization,the effective protection of the area of plant resources,the prospects of the application of these plants are discussed.
