Abstract:
The DVS and STA were applied to investigate the effect of two liquid sugars,glucose and
D-fructose,on the physical and chemical properties of tobacco,including the water retention and combustion characteristics of tobacco.The results showed that under the condition of a relative humidity of 10%—80% and temperature of 25 ℃,both of the sugars would increase the hygroscopicity of tobacco and the effect of glucose was more than that of
D-fructose.In the meantime,two sugars added into the tobacco would change the combustion characteristics of tobacco significantly.
