Abstract: For rapidly and sensitively determining the thiourea in edible additive,a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was developed,in which the edible additive was extracted by deionized water,then separated by centrifugal and diluted by methanol.The results showed that:① The samples of edible additive could be analyzed directly after extraction by deionized water and diluted by methanol,the separation results was satisfactory.② The detection limit of thiourea was 0.43 mg/kg,the limit of quantitation was 1.42 mg/kg and the recovery ranged from 90.85% to 94.34%.The intra-day and inter-day precisions were all less than 5%.
