外源赤霉素预处理对小粒咖啡种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响

Effects of exogenous gibberellin pretreatment on seed germination and seedling growth of Coffea arabica L.

  • 摘要: 小粒咖啡作为云南省的特色经济作物,其种子的繁育周期较长,这一特性在一定程度上制约了良种繁育和产业发展进程. 目前,小粒咖啡种子萌发的研究较少. 本研究以小粒咖啡‘卡蒂姆7963’种子为实验材料,采用不同浓度(1、10、100 μmol/L)GA3对小粒咖啡种子进行不同时间(12、24、36 h)浸种处理,测定种子萌发指标和幼苗生长指标,探究外源GA3对小粒咖啡种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响. 结果表明,低浓度(1~10 μmol/L)、短时间(12~24 h) GA3处理有利于小粒咖啡种子萌发及幼苗生长,而高浓度(≥100 μmol/L)或长时间(≥36 h)处理则产生抑制作用. 其中,1 μmol/L GA3浸种24 h为最佳处理条件,与对照相比,种子发芽率提高19.64%,主根长增加14.11%,幼苗叶长、叶宽、叶面积分别增大10.96%、20.94%、33.69%,地上部鲜重和干重分别提高13.05%、25.37%.

     

    Abstract: As a specialty cash crop in Yunnan, the seed germination cycle of Coffea arabica L. is relatively long, which to a certain extent restricts the breeding of good seeds and the process of industrial development. There are fewer studies on the germination of Coffea arabica L. seeds, and in this study, we used the seeds of Coffea arabica L.' Catimor 7963' as the experimental material, and used different concentrations of gibberellin (1, 10, 100 μmol/L) to immerse the seeds of Coffea arabica L. for different times (12, 24, 36 h) to determine the seed germination indexes and seedling growth indexes, to investigate the seed germination indexes and seedling growth indexes of exogenous GA3. Seed germination indexes and seedling growth indexes were measured to investigate the effects of exogenous GA3 on seed germination and seedling growth of coffee plantlets. The results showed that the low concentration (1−10 μmol/L) and short duration (12−24 h) of GA3 treatment favored the germination and seedling growth of C. plantarum, while the high concentration (≥100 μmol/L) or long duration (≥36 h) of GA3 treatment inhibited the germination and seedling growth of Coffea arabica L. Among the treatments tested, soaking seeds in 1 μmol/L GA3 for 24 hours was identified as the optimal condition. This treatment significantly enhanced seed germination by 19.64%, increased primary root length by 14.11%, and improved seedling leaf length, leaf width, and leaf area by 10.96%, 20.94%, and 33.69%, respectively. Additionally, it boosted aboveground fresh weight by 13.05% and dry weight by 25.37%, relative to the control group.
