The effect of spreading rate on quality of paper-process reconstituted tobacco

To well realize the relationship between the spreading rate and the quality of paper-process reconstituted tobacco (PRT),effect of the spreading rate on physical index,chemical index,regular mainstream smoke index and sensory quality of PRT was discussed with single factor method.The result shows that with the increasing of the spreading rate,the physical indexes decrease,such as bulk,tensile index and bursting index,the chemical indexes increase,regular mainstream smoke index all increase except the content of CO.Moreover,the sensory quality is better,which indicated that a higher spreading rate is benefit to improve the character of PRT and the tough problem of a high content of CO in PRT can be reduced by increase of the spreading rate.
