Chuxiong “2013.8.29” heavy precipitation process analysis

Using micaps conventional observation data,FY-2E satellite image,through the circulation patterns and physical fields Field Diagnostic analyzes of the August 29,2013-August 30 occurred in Chuxiong region a heavy rainfall weather process.It was found that this process occurs in favorable weather circulation background situation,because Chuandian shear and high altitude combined effect of convergence zone,and the Bay of Bengal,a steady stream of water vapor transport,satellite images show systematic Chuxiong area strong convective clouds,and the interaction between cold and warm air,causing moderate to heavy rain this Chuxiong strong locally heavy rainfall weather process.Favorable thermodynamic environment,moisture conditions and good dynamic conditions is the heavy precipitation mechanisms for generating and maintained.
