The main biochemical composition analysis of the Summer and Autumn leaves of 60 tea germplasms

  • Themain biochemical composition of the summer and autumn leaves of 60 tea germplasms planted in Sichuan were determined and systematically evaluated by the means of principal component analysis and cluster analysis.The result shows:By principal component analysis,4 principal components were obtained,of which the accumulative contribution rate is 82.163%,covering the most information of the original index.By the cluster analysis,the 60 varieties can be divided into 5 categories.Category Ⅰand Ⅳ are generally suited for green tea making,and evaluating the quality of green tea under the same process,category Ⅰ is superior to category Ⅳ;Category Ⅱ is relatively suited for black tea making;Category Ⅴ is generally suited for the Oolong tea making;Category Ⅲ is not suitable for tea making at all.By this study,we can find out the biochemical composition of various tea germplasms and make sure the appropriate technology for summer and autumn tea processing,thus to avoid the waste of resorce and advance the development of the industry.
