Studies on the chemical constituents of Thunia alba

The chemical constituents of Thunia alba from Wenshan in Yunnan were studied and twelve compounds,three bibenzyls,five phenanthrenes,one pinoresinol,one amide and two aliphatic compounds,were isolated by the method of silica gel column chromatography.The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectral analyses and chemical properties.Among them,eight compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time.
