Synthesis of heterocyclic ketone derivatives catalyzed by 3-substituted BINOL amides

  • The highly efficient method of synthesizing heterocyclic ketone derivatives was explored. In the aldol condensation reaction of heterocyclic ketone with aldehyde catalyzed by 3-substituted BINOL amide (Ⅰ~Ⅴ), the heterocyclic ketone derivatives were synthesized with high yield and high enantioselectivities, and their catalytic activity was investigated. The results demonstrated that in the presence of shaft chiral catalyst (x=15 %), the aldol condensation reaction between heterocyclic ketone and aldehyde can be effectively carried out, under the conditions of 0 ℃ in CH2Cl2. Both higher yield (up to 89%) and better enantioselectivities (up to 91%ee) could be obtained.
