Two new species of Cyprinidae from Yunnan

Two new species of Cyprinidae from Luoping County and Shilin County,Yunnan Province,China were reported.1. Sinocycloheilus luopingensis Li et Tao,sp.nov.This new species distinguishes the rest species of the genus by the shape of head,the location of nose,the size of body scales and the number of letter line scales.Holotype,No 9608002,was collected from Luoping County(24°05′N,104°20′E),August 1996 and kept in Heilongtan Reservoir of Shilin County,Yunnan Province,China.The total length of it’s body is 172mm and the standard length is 139mm.2. Rectoris longifinus Li,Mao et Lu,sp.nov.This new species is similar to Rectoris posehensis Lin.But differ from the latter in the length of all fins and lacking a black stripe in the body.Holotype,No 980514004,was collected from Zhoxi (24°16′N,103°36′E),Shilin County,May 14,1998.The standard length of it’s body is 139mm.) Paratype,No 9204207,was collected from Naige (24°30′N,103°36′E),Luoping County,Yunnan Province,China,April 1992.The standard length of it’s body is 120mm.
