Phylogenetic diversity of bacteria in fungistasis soil determined by 16S rDNA-RFLP analysis

  • For the objective to study bacterial community related to soil fungistasis,129 soil samples were collected from tobacco fields in 16 counties of Yunnan Province.After testing the fungistatic capability of inhibit conidialgermination of nematophagous fungus Pochonia chlamydosporia,these samples were combined into 5 significant groups (P 0.01) according to their fungistatic values.The 16S rRNA gene library of strong fungistatic soil was constructed and random clones were screened by RFLP method.Phylogenetic analysis on bacterial community showed that members of Proteobacteria and Acidobacteria were dominant bacteria in fungistatic soil.
