Studies on chemical constituents from Schefflera venulosa(Ⅰ)

The chemical components of Schefflera venulosa were studied.The constituents were isolated by silica gel and RP-C8 column chromatography and the 1H NMR,13C NMR spectroscopic analysis were employed for the structural elucidation.Four compounds were isolated from the complete herb of Schefflera venulosa,their structures were elucidated as 14-epihederagenin-3-Oβ-D-glucosiduronidyl(1→2)-β-D-rhamnopyranosyl oleanolic acid,chlorogenic acid.Compounds 1 is a new trierpenoid saponin while compounds 2—4 were isolated from the plant for the first time.
