Selective isolation methods of rare actinomycetes

To selecte isolation methods of rare actinomycetes,the effects of various phages,inhibitors,carbon resoures were tested.Based on the tested results,several medium were designed and improved.Isolation effects of the medium were compared.The results indicate that trehalose-Proline agar,modified Gauo’s 2 agar and proline agar are good medium for selective isolation for rare actinomycetes.Some experiences about isolation of rare actinomycetes were provided.
