Abstract:
During the ecological restoration period from 2010 to 2012,fuzzy synthetic evaluation methods were adopted in the quantitative analysis of the suitability of wintering waterbird habitats in Lashihai Wetland Restoration Area,swimming birds,waders and protected species selected as evaluation indexes.Further,a comprehensive evaluation was made to evaluate the benefits of the Lashihai Wetland Restoration.The results showed that:① The suitability of wintering waterbird habitats in the Wetland Restoration Area in 2010 was comparatively poor,but the suitability index rose from 0.471 to 0.840 after one year's ecological restoring.So,the initial stage of ecological restoration is crucial in the wetland restoration management;② The species and numbers of waders and protected species grew by a certain margin in the later period of the restoration,and the suitability index rose steadily.Daily management and protection of the restoration area should be strengthened during this period;③ The suitability of wintering waterbird habitats in 2011 and 2012 was far better than that in 2010.The conditions of waterbird habitats were improved significantly,and the wetland restoring effects were obviously observed;④ It is convenient and practicable to evaluate the effectiveness of the wetland ecological restoration by adopting fuzzy synthetic evaluation methods based on the suitability index in waterbird habitats.These methods,on the basis of avian ecology,are efficient and effective to monitor and evaluate the benefits of wetland ecological restoration.
