Abstract: Aiming at the information security and isolation question of smart distribution communication grid,this paper proposed a smart distribution communication scheme which can solve this information isolation question.This communication system in smart distribution bone network uses the QoS ,traffic engineering mechanism and isolation technology of the MPLS_VPN technology,realizing that substation information could transmit speedily and safely in communication backbone network.At the access side,using the IPSec encryption and authentication functions can realine that the critical business information has a strict confidentiality.According to the simulation result of smart distribution communication grid,we can find that this scheme in the grid communication can use different VPNs to realize the isolation between the critical information and general information in the communication systems.This scheme can get a good isolation when transmiting information and can improve the communication security of smart distribution grid. 
