Abstract:
A dynamic allocation algorithm of regions to servers is proposed in this paper to enhance the interactivity of users in distributed virtual environments. The concrete implement is that swap operations are continuously executed among servers and regions controlled by servers to achieve dynamically redistribution of regions to servers, and enhance the interactivity of users in distributed virtual environments. The aim is that the interactivity of users in distributed virtual environments is enhanced and the conditions on when to carry out the rearrangement and the way how to carry out the rearrangement are given.Simulation results show that the methods proposed not only reduces the average communication delay of all clients, but also decreases the usage rate of servers CPU.
