改进能量函数的Seam carving图像缩放方法

Seam carving with improved energy function for image resizing

  • 摘要: Seam carving算法是一种基于图像内容的缩放方法.这种方法在进行图像缩放时,可能会引起图像视觉主体的变形.为了改善Seam carving算法,采用基于图论的显著图模型(Graph-based Visual Saliency,GBVS)产生的显著度图与图像的梯度图相结合的方法计算像素点对人的视觉的重要性.实验表明,这种方法比Seam carving图像缩放算法有更好的缩放效果.

     

    Abstract: Seam carving algorithm is an image resizing algorithm based on image content.Resizing an image with this method may deform the image on salient parts.To improve the seam carving algorithm,this paper uses both the salient map produced by the graph-based visual saliency model and the image gradient map to compute the importance of pixels on human visual sense.Experiment results show that the proposed approach gets a better result compared with seam carving algorithm.
