Abstract:
In order to further develop the medicinal value of Indigofera stachyodes Lindl.,an automatic thermal desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometric (ATD-GC-MS) system was applied to analyze the volatile composition of the flowers and fresh root of Indigofera stachyodes Lindl. based on dynamic head-space closed cyclic adsorption sampling. The quantification of volatile compounds was carried out using area normalization method.Seven contents of identified volatile compounds in the fresh flowers were identified, mainly alkane, alkene, aldehydes, and alcohols, and among them, alkane were the most predominant group of compounds, with a relative content of 72.16%,followed by alkene(15.59%),aldehydes(8.88%),and alcohols(3.3%);Thirteen contents of identified volatile compounds in the root were identified, mainly alcohols, alkene, ester and alkane.Alcohols were the most predominant group of compounds(32.96%),followed by alkene(31.78%),ester(14.79%)and alkane(9.36%).Overall,the special aroma ingredients of Indigofera stachyodes Lindl. are aldehydes and terpenes.
