Abstract:
A novel Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) with wide linear range and low power consumption is presented in this paper by using the technigue of signal attenuation followed by source degeneration and negative feedback of the proposed OTA.The linearity is effectively improved by suppressing harmonic components, and the transconductance can be tuned by changing attenuator factor. This OTA is designed and simulated by Cadence Spectre with TSMC 0.18 m technology, and the simulation results show that the linear range is -0.650.65 V,and the power consumption is only 0.73 mW.The performance of the proposed OTA is confirmed through a fourth-order OTA-C filter.
