Taxonomy and phylogeny of the family Drosophilidae in China:progress and prospects

  • 摘要: 作者回顾了我国(包括台湾地区)果蝇分类和系统发生重建(phylogenetic reconstruction)研究的历史,并着重介绍了过去约30年来,我国学者在这两个研究领域取得的新进展,总结了以上两方面工作当前所面临的任务和挑战,以及DNA条形码(DNA barcoding)技术在果蝇分类、系统发生研究中的意义.最后,作者提出了基于基因组/转录组测序来进行果蝇主干系统发生框架(basal phylogenetic framework)重建、进而基于获得数据,采用常规分子系统学方法解决较低层次系统发生问题的研究策略.

     

    Abstract: The authors retrospect the past taxonomic and phylogenetic works on the family Drosophilidae in China(including Taiwan),withmphasis on works of the Chinese researchers during the past 30 years.The tasks/challenges the Chinese drosophilid researchers confronting with and the importance of DNA barcoding in the drosophilid taxonomy and phylogenetics are summarized.Finally,we propose our scheme:select key,representative species for focal drosophilid lineages and then do transcriptomic sequencing,for each of the focal taxa,select genetic markers and design PCR primers for them referring to the alignment of available genomic/transcriptomic sequences.This scheme is expected facilitate resolving the terminal phylogeny thrughout the whole family.
