Abstract: Automatic tiered storage technology (ATS) is hot technology of storage for data for nearly two years.It divides these data into hot or cold one dynamically according to its applicated frequency,and saves them in several storage devices having different read-write speed,to providi better solution included performance of efficient,msss storage and lowcost.On the basis of the in-depth implementation and application,the paper discusses ATS from such aspect as system architecture,related theories,essential technologies,and implantation.Then,the effects of application is summarized.
