Abstract:
To understand the effect of salt irons, such as NaCl, metal irons (Cr7+,Mg2+,and K+),ScCl3,and halogen (I-, Br-, and F-),on the diversity of secondary metabolites produced by Actinopolyspora YIM 90615,HPTLC chromatographed by UV254,iodine and anisaldehyde-sulfuric acid were performed. The results showed that application of NaCl at the final concentration of 100 g/L showed the best promotion to the growth of the strain and the diversity of secondary metabolites production, and Cr7+,K+ also help to produce more secondary metabolites, additional 1 g/L ScCl3 and F- could promote the diversity of secondary metabolites too. These results suggested that exogenous application of salt irons could obviously stimulate the growth of strain YIM 90615 and the productivity and diversity of second metabolisms, which could provide the theoretical basis for the practical application of Actinopolyspora in future and create suitable conditions for producing new antibiotics and other useful compounds. It also provides theoretical basis for the selection of the fermentation medium for other Actinomycetes.
