区域可变拟合模型的修正及其在气象目标分割中的应用

Improve the region-scalable fitting model to the meteorological target segmentation

  • 摘要: 近十年来,CV模型广泛应用于图像分割中,通过极小化Mumford-Shah函数来驱动轮廓曲线向着目标边缘演化,有较好的抗噪性,但应用于低对比度图像分割时容易出现目标识别错误、边缘丢失等问题.2008年Li C.M.等对CV模型进行改进,提出了区域可变拟合(RSF)模型,该模型利用高斯函数为核函数的可变区域拟合能量泛函,可以分割低对比度图像,但对初始位置的选取与噪声敏感,且轮廓曲线容易收敛到目标边界的伪边缘.为此,我们对RSF模型进行修正,将相位一致性函数作为边缘停止项引入到RSF模型中,将能量泛函的求解转化为全局凸分割模型的能量函数形式,得到一个新的活动轮廓模型PRSF.实验结果表明:PRSF模型能够有效的融合区域与边缘活动轮廓特点,对初始位置的选取和噪声不敏感,能够提取低对比度情况下的目标弱边缘.我们将PRSF模型应用于气象目标分割计算中,结合Split Bregman算法进行快速求解,可满足气象目标实时跟踪计算的要求.

     

    Abstract: In recent years,Geometric Active Contour model has widely been used in image segmentation.CV model can divide the target and the background into two piecewise smooth areas,drive the contour curve moving to the target edge by minimizing the Mumford-Shah function.CV model is not sensitive to the initial curve location and has better noise immunity,but easy make the mistake such as the wrong target recognition or loss some edges when it used for low contrast image segmentation.In 2008,Li,C.M. et.al presented the Region Salable Fitting model by using the Gaussian function as the local region kernel function to fit the energy functional.RSF model can segment the low contrast image,but its contour curve may converge to the pseudo edge and sensitive to the noise and initial position.In this paper,we join the phase contingency function as the edge stop item into RSF model,convert the solution into the global convex segmentation energy functional.We call this model as PRSF.Some experimental results show that PRSF model can integrate the features of area and edge active contour effectively,it is not sensitive to the noise and the initial position,and can extract the edge of weak target in the low contrast.We use PRSF model to segment the meteorological target with Split Bergman fast computing,the algorithm of time execution efficiency is higher.PRSF model can be used for real-time target tracking calculation.
