“7.09”山西暴雨数值模拟与诊断分析

Numerical simulation and diagnostic analysis of heavy rainstorm on 9 July 2013 in Shanxi

  • 摘要: 利用NCEP/NCAR 1°×1°全球分析资料、地面观测降水资料,采用NCAR、NCEP 和FSL/NOAA 等共同研制的新一代细网格WRF中尺度数值模式,对2013年7月9日山西省一次暴雨过程进行了数值模拟与诊断分析.结果表明:此次过程属于典型的副高切变型暴雨,副高进退缓慢,584线基本在山西南部稳定少动,中高纬不断有冷空气南下,与低层西南暖湿气流交汇,激发降水云系,造成强降水.三重嵌套的WRF模式比较成功地再现了高低空环流形势的演变及暴雨时空分布特征,利用模式输出的高分辨率资料诊断分析发现,暴雨区高空负涡度、低层正涡度,且涡度中心对称,低层辐合、高层辐散的配置以及高温高湿的不稳定环境为暴雨发生发展提供了有利条件,强烈的上升运动使低空西南急流和高空西风急流相互耦合,是产生暴雨的主要原因.

     

    Abstract: A rainstorm process in Shanxi on 9 July 2013 is studied by using the 1°×1°NCEP/NCAR analysis data,observed surface precipitation data.The rainstorm process is simulated by WRF mesoscale numerical model and diagnostic analysis is made by using WRF model outputs.Results show that this process belongs to the deputy high cut cause-d rainstorm typical of subtropical high,advance and retreat slowly,584 basic line in south-ern Shanxi stable less dynamic,constantly in high latitude cold air southward,crossing an-d low-level southwest warm wet air current,the excitation of precipitation cloud,cause str-ong precipitation.The WRF model successfully reproduced the distribution characteristics of evolution and the rain belt of the upper and lower air circulation.Using high resolution data diagnosis model output analysis found that the heavy rain areanegative vorticity,high altitude,low level positive vorticity,and the vorticity center symmetricunstable environment,low level convergence,upper level divergence configuration andhigh temperature and humidity for rainstorm development has provided favorable conditions,the strong upward motion to the southwest low level jet and the upper westerly jet coupling,is the main reason resulting in heavy rain.
