热处理对TC21合金力学性能及应变率敏感性的影响

Effects of heat treatment on the mechanical properties and strain rate sensitivity of TC21 titanium alloy

  • 摘要: 采用万能材料试验机和分离式Hopkinson压杆,分别对不同热处理制度下的TC21合金试样进行测试,研究热处理对TC21合金静态、动态力学性能及其应变率敏感性的影响.结果表明,在准静态下,1#双态组织塑性最好,强度较低;2#三态组织的塑性相对较好,强度也有所增强;3#网篮组织的强度较高,但塑性较差;4#固溶时效组织的强度与3#相当,且具有更好的塑性.在高应变率下,1#表现出最大的应变,但流变应力最低;2#流变应力相对较高,但断裂应变更小;3#流变应力最高,断裂应变最小;4#流变应力与3#相当,但应变稍大.4种组织在高应变率下都表现出应变率敏感性,高低依次为4#>3#>2#>1#.

     

    Abstract: Using universal material testing machine and split Hopkinson pressure bar,quasi-static and dynamic mechanical properties of TC21 titanium alloy treated by four kinds of heat treatment technologies had been tested respectively and effects of heat treatment on the quasi-static,dynamic mechanical properties and strain rate sensitivity of TC21 titanium alloy had been studied.The results show that the binary microstructure has the best plasticity,but lower intensity;Tri-modal microstructure has better plasticity and strength;Basket-weave microstructure has higher strength,but poor ductility;Solution aging microstructure has higher strength and better plasticity than the basket-weave microstructure under the condition of quasi-static deformation.Under high strain rates,dynamic mechanical properties of four kind of microstructure of TC21 titanium alloy are similar to that of quasi-static mechanical properties.Four kinds of microstructure of TC21 titanium alloy are very sensitive to strain rate.The strain rate sensitivity subsequence of four kinds of microstructure of TC21 titanium alloy is solution aging microstructure,basket-weave microstructure,tri-modal microstructure and binary microstructure in turn according to in sort descending.
