Abstract:
Applying the reanalysis data from ECMWF data-set and the data of Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) from NOAA,the tendency of the North Pacific Oscillation Index (NPOI),the temporal-spatial distribution of the North Pacific Oscillation and Southern Oscillation has been analyzed, and their influence on the total column ozone(TCO) over East Asia has been studied in this paper. The results show that firstly, the North Pacific Oscillation index shows a downward trend in recent 31a,and North Pacific Oscillation have a certain impact on the change in the total amount of ozone in East Asia.Secondly, the Southern Oscillation also has some relationship with the TCO change, which has something to do with the strength of the Subtropical High and the El Nino/La Nina event.
