双重正弦槽同轴布喇格结构特性的模拟研究

On simulations of coaxial bragg structure with double-sinusoidal ripples

  • 摘要: 基于耦合模理论,利用Fortran编程软件,对双重正弦同轴布喇格结构的频率响应特性进行了模拟研究.结果表明:与传统单一正弦槽结构相比,在不改变开槽深度情况下,双重正弦槽工作模式和竞争模式带宽变窄,带隙间隔变宽.过模工作状态所产生的带隙重叠明显分离,频率响应曲线的残余旁瓣被有效抑制,腔体品质因数Q得到提高,从而结构模式选择性得到增强.这些特点有利于构建高品质因数、高功率自由电子激光设备的单一高次模谐振腔.

     

    Abstract: Based on the mode-coupling method,Fortran soft simulations have been carried out for the frequency response in a coaxial Bragg structure with double-sinusoidal ripples.Results show that compared with the ordinary Bragg structure with single-sinusoidal ripples,when the corrugation amplitude is invariant,the bandwidth of the operating mode and the competing mode can be narrowed and the interval of the band-gaps is broadened by use of the double-sinusoidal ripples.The band-gap overlap in an overmoded coaxial Bragg structure can be efficiently separated,the residual side-lobes of the frequency response also can be effectively suppressed,and the Q factor is get greater and the selectivity of frequency is enhanced.These peculiarities are favorable to constructing a high-Q resonator for single higher-order mode operation of high-power free-electron devices.
