Feature points matching of terracotta warrior images based on condition number constraint

  • 摘要: 特征点匹配是文化遗产数字化保护中很多问题的一个重要环节,如何减少匹配对中的离群点是匹配需要考虑的重要问题.使用SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform)算子获得初始匹配对,对特征点进行三角剖分,使得每个三角面片进行非刚体变换,并确保其受条件数约束,定义一种能量函数,将特征匹配问题转化为优化问题,使用一种迭代重加权的算法进行优化.使用相关秦俑数据进行实验,结果表明方法能够降低离群点比例,提高匹配准确度.

     

    Abstract: Feature points matching of images is considered as a key process in digital protection of cultural heritage,how to decrease the outliers of the matching pairs is an important issue.The paper acquires initial matching pairs based on SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform) descriptor and then triangulates the feature points,so each triangle is under non rigid transformation restricted by condition number.An energy function is defined to transform the feature matching problem into optimization problem which is solved by an iterative reweighting algorithm.It's shown by the results of experiment on terrcotta warrior data that the proposed method can decrease the ratio of outliers and increase matching accuracy.
