Abstract:
Different morphologies of cuprous oxide were synthesized by using copper nitrate as copper source,glucose as reducing agent and different types of templates.The effects of sodium hydroxide amount on the crystal phase of products were discussed.The effects of reducing agent amount and template types on the crystal phase,morphology,and photocatalytic activity of product were also discussed.It was found that reducing agent amount and template types had strong effects on the morphologies of the products and little effect on the crystal phase of the products.The prepared catalyst own the property of adsorption and photodegradation of methyl orange.Because photocatalytic activity of the prepared cuprous oxide is not high,titanium isopropylate (TTIP) was added in the reaction,Cu2O-TiO2 composite catalyst were obtained.It was found that Cu2O-TiO2 has higher photocatalytic activity than pure Cu2O.
