基于改进调制宽带转换器的射电天文信号采样及恢复

Sampling and recovery of radio astronomy signals based on improved Modulation Broadband Converter

  • 摘要: 为解决调制宽带转换器(Modulated Wideband Converter,MWC)在实现过程中+1/-1伪随机周期序列硬件电路难以实现的问题,提出了一种硬件电路容易实现的0/Vs_max伪随机周期序列,取消电压偏移电路,直接对信号发生模块输出信号进行放大处理,通过调节放大器参数产生需求的0/Vs_max周期伪随机序列.利用云南天文台实测的射电天文信号数据进行仿真实验,验证MWC系统对信号的重构性能.仿真结果表明,MWC系统采用0/Vs_max伪随机周期序列时降低了重构信号的均方误差,提高了重构精度,直接证明新提出的0/Vs_max伪随机周期序列在通道数大于16时MWC系统对原始信号重构的优异特性.

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the +1/-1 pseudo-random cycle sequence is difficult to realize in the modulation broadband converter hardware circuit,0/Vs_max apseudo-random periodic sequence realization in hardware circuit is proposed,cancel the voltage offset circuit,amplify the signal generation module output signal directly,by adjusting the amplifier parameters to generate 0/Vs_max perioclic pseudo-random seguence.The simulation experiment on the radio astronomy signals measured by the Yunnan Observatory is carried out to verify the reconstruction performance of the MWC sampling system.The simulation results show that the MWC system using 0/Vs_max pseudo-random period sequence has better signal reconstruction performance,and directly proves that the proposed 0/Vs_max pseudo-random periodic sequence is excellent for signal reconstruction in MWC system.
