Abstract:
To study the chemical constituents of
Stachys kouyangensis (Vaniot) Dunn collected in Fumin County, Yunnan Province, 70% acetone aqueous extract of the aerial parts of.
S.
kouyangensis were separated and purified by chromatography methods. As a result, eleven compounds were isolated and determined by spectroscopic analysis to be: 6−hydroxystigmast−4−en−3−one (
1 ), stigmast−4,22−dien−3−one (
2 ),
β−sitosterin (
3 ),
S−(+)−dehydrovomifoliol (
4 ), loliolide (
5 ), phytol (
6 ), angophorol (
7 ), trans−caffeic acid (
8 ), syringic acid (
9 ), salicylic acid (
10 ), dodecanoic acid (
11 ), respectively. All compounds were obtained from
S.
kouyangensis for the first time, and compounds
1 ,
2 ,
4 ,
5 , and
7 were the first isolates from the
genus Stachys.
