Abstract:
To contribute the effective method for eutrophication water, this research took Ze Lake, and engineering practiced the phosphorus removal by the method of ferric salt precipitation adsorption, which based on the success of laboratory experiments. The results indicated that the concentration of total phosphorus reduced to 0.284 mg/L within 3 days (removal rate up to 80 %) by spraying ferric salt while the original value as high as 1.630 mg/L. Meantime, the pH of water body maintained within the safe range of neutral to weak alkaline range (7.15−8.32). In addition, other pollutants such as fecal coliform count, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, anionic surfactant concentration and potassium permanganate index were also decreased to varying degrees. Last, the visual and olfactory in Ze Lake that obtained obviously improvement, as well as the overall water quality.
