Abstract:
One time sintering of BaTiO3 with Al2O3 and SiO2 minim adulterants was studied.This technique decreased sintering temperature.Samples were studied by Electron Probe,Optical Microscope,and X-ray diffraction instrument,etc.According to experimental facts of the distribution of Al in the samples and the resistance variation of BaTiO3 thermistor with different quantity of Al2O3,it was concluded that Al might be an element that promotes semi-conduction and its function could be regarded as a donor.BaTiO3 thermistor with better qualities was obtained by new technique.
