Abstract: Principal component analysis(PCA) was employed to transform the 22 routine chemical indexes into 22 new irrelevant principal components(PC) indexes,employed and the pattern recognition technology was applied to the unsupervised classification of the different tobacco leaves,comprehensive evaluation models were built for the different kinds of tobacco leaves,which reflected the different components of the tobacco leaves from different regions,different varieties and different parts of the leaves of Yunnan Province.
