Abstract:
Based on routine observational data of 10 conventional meteorological observation stations from 1980 to 2008 and archives of Doppler radar data in Zhaotong,the temporal and spatial distribution and circulation features of severe convection weather in Zhaotong are analyzed.The result show that Zhaotong strong convection weather in 29a presents slightly reduced linear trends,it has obvious interannual variation characteristics and irregular alternation of high value and low value.Strong convection weather occurring frequency has obvious geographical and seasonal variations.Strong convection weather occurs frequently in 2 areas:the southeast area of high hail and thunderstorm incidence,the southwest area of high gale incidence.According to the weather conditions when severe convection weather occurs, the strong convection weather in Zhaotong is divided into 4 types: plateau trough type,convergence zone type between Yunnan and Guizhou Province,shear jet type and shear cold front type.Most of initial echoes of the strong convection weather emerge in the north-west or south,they develop when move to Zhaotong and weak after they move out.
