Abstract:
Because of the attractive open space underneath the building and the convenience of isolation layer of setting,the application of large base structure with double tower is more and more widely,the relevant studies also more and more.But the impact study about tower spacing for this type of structure to the isolation affects also less,thus,in this paper the authors conducted the research.This paper uses a large-scale finite element software-ETABS to do the numerical simulation analysis,with large base structure with twin towers as an example,through adjusting the tower spacing of structure ,comparison and analysis the seismic isolating coefficient,the horizontal earthquake effect coefficient and the period ratio of modes of the structure with different spacing,then draws the relationship between tower distance and vibration isolation of the large base structure with twin towers,to provide reference for the design of this kind of buildings.
