Abstract: According to the regional metallogenic geological background in Jinman Lanping country of Yunnan province,collecting the former's research achievement of the typical medium in Jinman and the exploration results,taking into consideration the metallogenic regularities of adjacent copper deposit,we analyzed the copper deposit metallogenic regularity and prospecting potential ,and put forward the corresponding methods of prospecting for ore deposits.The study showed that gold deposits in full light into a magmatic hydrothermal deposit,formation,interlayer structure,alteration of three common control.The copper prospecting of this area should be the other prospecting method instead of the traditional prospecting model.
