Abstract: Jinghe County of Xinjiang is selected as a study area and TM images of 1990, 1999 2007 are choiced to obtain some information about its landuse such as landuse-type landuse area and etc.Based on these results, Markov process is analysed on the between differrent landuse types from 1990 to 1999 and from 1999 to 2007, respectively.And such a conclusion that the landuse transition is Markov process between both 1990 1999 and 1999 2007.And all these help to indicate the dynamity of landuse transition in order to give some important academic references to study area and other similar regions.
