Abstract:
A new type of surface plasma filter composed of some rectangular cavities in the longitudinal direction has been proposed.By applying the finite difference of time domain (FDTD) method,the characteristics of single-cavity and dual-cavity and three-cavity structure have been investigated.For the single-cavity filter,F-P resonance will induce transmission peaks.When a metal film is added into the single-cavity,the original transmission peaks of the single cavity will split or disappear. According to the near-field distribution and theoretical analysis,it has been found the long surface plasma resonance and the short surface plasma resonance lead to the splitting.
