Abstract:
Three methods of DNA extraction were studied using improved methods of CTAB,SDS and low pH with high salts on the seeds of Malania oleifera.The extracted genomic DNA purity was detected by agarose gel electrophoresis and a UV-vis recording spectrophotometer.The genomic DNA extracted using improved methods of CTAB,SDS and low pH with high salts has good purity with OD260/OD280 ratio between 1.8 and 2.0.The improved CTAB method gave satisfied results,such as the best quality and highest purity of extracted DNA,which was an important basis for further study of molecular biology in Malania oleifera.
