Abstract:
A physical-statistical propagation model is proposed by combination the statistical method with the Maciel-Bertoni-Xia radio model.It is assumed that the average roof top level is not a deterministic variable like those in theory propagation models,but a statistical variable.The performance of the model is studied by simulating probability density functions(PDFs),cumulative distribution functions(CDFs).Finally,the second order characteristics for the proposed model is researched.Level cross rates(LCRs) and average duration of fades(ADFs) are given by assuming that the vehicle moves at the rate of 36 kilometers per hour in building-up areas.
