中国白珠树属植物种质资源调查与评价利用

Evaluation and utilization of germplasm resources of Gaultheria L.in China

  • 摘要: 白珠树属(Gaultheria L.)隶属杜鹃花科越桔亚科,中国有35种17变种.本属植物在生境、习性、形态和化学成分上具有较高多样性,资源蕴藏量丰富.由于植株常绿秀美,果实艳丽,含有多种有益于人体的化合物,其中,滇白珠和芳香白珠富含冬青油(水杨酸甲酯),因此,该属植物在园艺、食品、医药及其他工业中具有广阔的利用前景和巨大的开发潜力.但是,目前对国产大多数植物种质资源的开发与利用还鲜有报道.本文基于文献资料、野外调查和研究数据,对国产该属植物的野生种类、形态、分布、资源量、DNA条形码物种鉴别力等进行评述,并初步评价了其利用价值,旨在为该属植物的野生种质资源保护和可持续利用提供理论依据.

     

    Abstract: The genus Gaultheria L.belongs to the subfamily of Vaccinioideae within Ericaceae.Approximately 35 species and 17 varieties have been found in China.Chinese Gaultheria species possessed high diversity in their habitat,habit,morphologic features and chemical components,with richness in their potential germplasm resources.Gaultheria has a large potential to be utilized in landscape gardening,food,medicine and some other manufactures,due to its plants in elegant shape,leaves in shining evergreen,fruits in bright color,and with abundant compounds that are beneficial to human health,i.e.,G.leucocarpa and G.fragrantissima,containing abundant wintergreen oil (methyl salicylate),have long been applied as Chinese traditional medicine.Nevertheless,few studies have been reported with regarding the resource exploitation and utilization of Chinese species.Based on previous literatures,and research data from field investigation,wild species richness,morphological characteristics,distribution pattern,resource,and species discriminability of DNA barcodes are summarized in this study,and preliminarily evaluated the values in use,to provide more basic information for the future sustainable utilization of the germplasm resources of Gaultheria in China.
