Abstract:
Quinoxaline derivatives were synthesized by using benzil and o-phenylene diamineas as raw materials and montmorillonitesupportedzinc chloride as catalyst. The effect of solvent, reaction time, temperature and molar ratio of raw materials on the yield were investigated. The optimal reaction conditions were obtained as benzil and o-phenylenediamine molar ratio of 1.2∶1.0,the amount of catalyst 10mol% benzil, and ethyl acetate as the solvent, the reaction time 10min,temperature 30℃ with yield up to 96.3%.The resulting compound were confirmed by melting point,IR and 1H NMR.
