Abstract:
Based on the survey data of 132 Pinusyunnanensis forest plots in Yunnan Province, the carbon density of Pinus yunnanensis forest was calculated by inverse distance weighting (IDW),and its spatial distribution characteristics and correlation with latitude and altitude were analyzed. The results showed that the IDW could be used to estimate the spatial distribution of carbon density in the organs of Pinus yunnanensis, and the variation of the carbon density of the trunk was from 0.46t·hm2 to 42.69t·hm2,the branches, the roots and the leaves was,0.33—33.35t·hm2,0.27—28.29t·hm2,and 0.12—12.42t·hm2,respectively.The carbon density of full tree ranged from 1.18—115.88t·hm2,which represented the trunk>branches>tree roots>leaves. The density of each part (trunks, branches, leaves and roots) and whole tree was closely related to latitude and altitude. The density of carbon in Pinus yunnanensis forest was the highest at 26°—29°N,followed by 23°—25°N and 25°—26°N.
