Abstract:
800 muds and leaf samples were collected from Jizu Mountain,Xishuangbanna,Dianchi Lake,Panlong River,Cang Mountain in Yunnan Province and Kuankuoshui in Guizhou Province, and investigated for freshwater nematophagous fungi.A total of 47 species were isolaed, which were assigned into 5 genera:Arthrobotrys,Dactylellina,Drechslerella,Dactylella and Triposporina, including two new records of China,A. psychrophila and Da. tentaculatum,Compared with previous studies, the present research revealed that the horizontal distribution of freshwater nematophagous fungi is not restricted strictly by geography and climate but the distribution frequency of species is different in various habitates.Freshwater nematophagous fungi could group in many substrata based on the studies of two substrata mud and leaf. The conditions of the water have notable effect to the distribution of the fungi. The trapping device and other related questions are also discussed.
