Abstract: By using some properties of finite groups,we analyze the structure of automorphism groups of arc-regular prime-valent graphs of order 4pn with p a prime.Then,applying certain properties of normal quotient graphs,we obtain a characterization of such graphs.In particular,a classification of such graphs is given for the case where n4.
