如何激发学生对生物材料学课程的学习兴趣

How to motivate students′ interest in learning the course of biomaterials science

  • 摘要: 生物材料学是我校为材料化学专业本科四年级学生开设的一门专业选修课,针对毕业班学生忙于考研找工作,缺乏学习兴趣出勤率低等问题,通过教师多年教学中的思考与实践,结合学生的实际情况,提出了结合相关科研项目及研究前沿与现状促进学习兴趣,同时提高学生的从业兴趣;改善教学方式如讨论式教学、撰写综述性论文等提高学生的参与性,锻炼学生的科学思维及科研能力;在基本理论的讲授中,注重理论联系实际,进一步提高学习兴趣和积极性.从而改进教学质量,提高创新性人才培养水平.

     

    Abstract: Biomaterials Science is a professional elective course which is offered for Materials Chemistry undergraduate seniors at Yunnan University.Since seniors are busy preparing for graduate entrance examinations or looking for work,there is a lack of interest and low attendance in learning biomaterials science.Faculty and students have worked together and made some alterations to improve this educational system.The following improvements were proposed:First,teachers should combine with modern relevant research projects and new technology to promote students' interest in learning as they can apply their knowledge and experience to any future work.Second,teachers should incorporate improved teaching skills and methods to promote student involvement and participation,such as discussion teaching and writing reviewed papers.These exercises augment students' scientific thinking and research skills.When teaching the basic theory,teachers should focus on linking theory with practice.The result of this is that students are more enthusiastic and interested,thereby improving the quality of teaching and the level of training innovative talents.
