Abstract:
The characteristics of the interaction between two bubbles which the separation distance between the bubbles were comparable to their size and the radial oscillation of two bubbles in a strong sound field are studied based on the equations of double bubbles coupled oscillation in this paper.The results show that the interaction between two bubbles with such characteristics can increase the ability of energy conversion of a gas bubble. The strength of nonlinear oscillation of a coupled bubble depends on the pressure amplitude of driving acoustic field, driving frequency and the radii of two bubbles. The results also show that the interaction between such bubbles is an attraction in a certain driving frequencies.
