Abstract:
Nine compounds were isolated from roots of
Cyathula officinalis Kuan by method of silica gel column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by NMR spectrum. The structures of these compounds were identified respectively as mokko lactone (
1 ),
α-spinasteryl-3-O-
β-
D-glucopyranoside(
2 ),
β-sitosterol-3-O-glucopyranoside (
3 ), capitasterone (
4 ), cyasterone (
5 ), 28-
epi-cyasterone (
6 ), oleanolic acid-28-O-
β-
D-glucopyranoside (
7 ), 18
β-H-glycyrrhetinic acid 30-
β-glucopyranosyl ester (
8 ) and oleanolic acid-3-O-
β-
D-glucuronic acid (
9 ). Compounds
1 —
2 ,
7 —
9 were isolated from this plant for the first time.
