Abstract:
In order to screen out high-quality, high-yield, disease-resistant tomato varieties with different fruit colors suitable for cultivation in Ningxia, and to promote the development of sightseeing agriculture, 7 excellent varieties were introduced, and their plant traits, fruit quality and resistance were cultivated in the open field in Yongning County, Yinchuan City. Twenty-eight indicators such as disease, commodity and yield were compared, and 7 varieties were comprehensively evaluated based on the principal component and membership function analysis method. The test results showed that there were extremely significant differences in the soluble solid content of different varieties, among which ‘Yellow Cherry’ was the highest (9.94%), and ‘Yellow Banana’ was the lowest (6.74%). There were significant differences in fruit hardness between different varieties, of which ‘Green Ball’ was the highest (2.56 kg/cm
2), ‘Yellow Tiger Skin’ was the lowest (1.28 kg/cm
2). The varieties with the highest commodity fruit-rate were ‘Little Purple’, ‘Yellow Cherry’ and ‘Green Banana’, the lowest was ‘Purple Pearl’. The variety with strongest disease resistance was ‘Yellow Cherry’, the weakest is ‘Green Ball’. There were significant differences in yields, with the highest yield of ‘Green Ball’ (87.73 t/hm
2) and the lowest yield of ‘Yellow Cherry’ (39.87 t/hm
2). The order of the comprehensive evaluation was: ‘Green Ball’>‘Yellow Tiger Skin’> ‘Green Banana’> ‘Little Purple’> ‘Yellow Banana’>‘Purple Pearl’> ‘Yellow Cherry’.
